Relaxing Evening

I am on baby sitting duty tonight as Mrs Fleet is off at some meeting or other. Rothmans and Miss Fleet have gone to bed with surprising ease, so I have taken the opportunity to sit out in the garden with a nice Cuaba cigar and an equally nice glass of Rosé.

The picture quality isn’t great as I am using my Nokia E71 at the moment. I have an N85 as well, but I prefer the E71 for everything except it’s inferior camera.

Love the red bucket sneaking into the corner of shot there.
Kids, eh? They infiltrate ever last bit of your life. Even when you think you’ve seen the last of them for the night, you end up slipping on a toy car or lego brick.

Incidentally, if you’d been sitting out side in Cape Town about the same time last night, you would have been sleeted, hailed and rained on before ending up “Not in Kansas anymore”. Man, that was a storm.

That was where it ended up after I had retrieved it from the birdbath. Just out of shot are a sandpit, a small bouncy castle, and a wendy house kitted out with pink furniture. There is no escape.

I caught Rothmans drinking from the birdbath shortly before I put her to bed.

Glad to know that the weather isn’t ALWAYS perfect in Cape Town!

    Fortunately, it’s perfect again today.

I’m sitting here enjoying a Scapa 16 year old (it’s a whisky for the avoidance of doubt 8) ). Just hang on to that thought and send envy waves.

  5. Fleet of Worlds says:

Envy waves duly sent. Not tried a Scapa before…!

Might have a glass of Jura Superstition (another BigRab recommendation) later!
